Campground app

Looking for a good app where I can plot my trip and get campground information for the route. Doesn’t have to be free. Thanks

We just use the Good Sam app. It lists Good Sam affiliated parks as well as other campgrounds including State Parks, Forest Service, BLM and COE Campgrounds.
Also has a "Trip Planner" associated with it.

I like RV Trip Wizard. I've used the Good Sam app but feel the RVTW is more comprehensive. They also have a phone app that works with it.

Not to be "too blatant about it," but take a look at the red banner at the top of every forum webpage.... RV Life is one of the options that provides trip planning, campground reviews, RV maintenance tips and RV GPS routing (among other features)...

So, if we're going to "recommend other services to get information" we owe it to the forum to at least take a look at the "forum's offerings"....

Although Allstays really doesn't have a route planner that is as comprehensive as RVTW,
The POI's, campground information is better populated.

I think I'm an odd ball; I could care less about an app that shows me campgrounds - I have the internet and I spend a lot of time routing myself, finding campgrounds I like and fuel locations. Between knowing what I'm doing and where I'm going Google Maps guides me where I want to go then use satellite and street view...I'm set up before I leave. Just make sure the DW inputs all the info, I have options and go at it. I DO NOT take recommendations from ANY routing device. I do not travel the upper E coast or the L coast so I don't encounter many of the low bridges or other limitations. JMO and works for us.

Allstays works well. Not free but shoes campgrounds, fuel stations, etc...

This is sooo true! Unfortunately, there are so many adds on the web, that I (as well as most I imagine) tune them all out and don’t even see them anymore.
That being said, I do my prelim using Allstays (mine is free fwiw) and Park Advisor. Both show me a tentative trip idea and I google the stuff I want more details about after.
Wife and I have ruled out Rec.gov due to our height/length…no more state/county/city/fed parks for us. Twice barely making it in and out we fly the white flag! Sad because we really love that type of campgrounds too.
Don’t waste your time with Co-Pilot app, or the Garmin OTR series. Both lead us over low lines and under weight bridges.
