Ceiling Dome Light

Anyone have any tricks on how to remove a ceiling dome/puck light?
I have tried turning but have had no luck. Just want to replace it as it has burnt out bulb/led.

Welcome to the forum

Since there a few different types, a picture would help a lot. Some twist some are screwed in and some are spring loaded.

On my 2019, the covers snap in place. A small flat screwdriver and it will pop right off.

Not sure of your trailer's year, but newer campers with l.e.d. puck lights have a 3 point contact between the base and cover. Put the light lens in the palm of your hand (for maximum traction) and rotate counter clockwise. The base is attached to the ceiling with 3 small pointed screws. Having the replacement light present will also help you to see the lens removal process. Prying the lens may strip out the base's mounting screws.

If you haven't found a replacement yet, do an Amazon search for "Command Electronics trailer dome light". Having a replacement in hand before you try to remove, might be helpful.

If memory serves me, you have to pop the lens off. I use a very small flat heat screwdriver.
