Sometimes you need to ignore the manual!

Last week I had a slideout cable fray and need replacing. I had some techs come out and do the job but decided to order a couple cables, a pair of crimpers and some cutters appropriate for cutting stranded cable, should I have this issue again at some point.

Below are the instructions that came with the cutters. I watched the guys replace my cable and I definitely don't recall seeing them go to this extreme!

I'm sure they didn't....and shouldn't. Neither would I. Somehow for some common sense has had to be replaced by nanny instructions, devices etc. to the point of ??? You watched those folks do it; if/when it arises again (hopefully not) carry on in a "sensible" manner.

LMAO
Make sure the baby is secure in a seat with goggles on. Away from the work site.

Half of those instructions don't make any sense, which is typical of poorly translated instructions. These Chinese companies that market tools and other items to the US would do well to get someone capable of speaking American English to write the instructions.
