It is hooked up but never gets 12volt from thermostat. Jumped 12v to yellow lead and ac works fine.

Your feelings are exactly what many of us feel. The warranties might be of some value on small things if you didn't care about your time, the lost time using the RV, your frustration trying to get it done - or, if a person just didn't know how to do something. If you do, it's usually far more beneficial to the owner to just take care of it and go on down the road.

That's correct, and that thermostat is really a Coleman warranty item, Keystone only acts as a intermediary for the first year.
I advise you to find a good independent RV repair person who can do the work that you cannot or don't have time to do. And is authorized to perform the warranty on most if not all the appliances and equipment. Then cultivate a very good relationship with that person.
They don't sell trailers and so don't spend all their time making trailers ready. They only get paid to fix your stuff and they are nearly always faster and less expensive than the dealer.

That has been my way of thinking so far. I only plan on using the warranty
If it’s a major issue …time is money both for the dealer and the consumer

Has it ever worked? There may be a piece of cardboard across the contacts under the cover of the thermostat to protect it when it was installed at the factory. Usually it is removed but maybe someone missed it. Take the cover off the thermostat and take a picture

It seems like it gas worked for very short moments here and there. I have checked with infrared laser gun. Should you feel a click or anything on the slide mechanism when moving past the current ambient air temp?

If it’s a set of contacts in it then yes…I’m not familiar with that brand of thermostat but most mechanical stats are pretty basic. I’d take a good look inside and see if you notice anything amiss ….if you turn it all the way down does it come on?…also possibly the wires are on wrong terminals

Well then you have a choice. Pay the fees to have a mobile RV tech come out and fix the problem, or spend $65 - $120 to replace it yourself with a new analog or digital model. If it was me, and the rig was still under warranty, I would just replace the faulty analog. The dealer would never know the difference and you are back in business at a lot less of the cost of that Mobile RV tech.

I do not FEEL a click when going past the ambient temp, but within a second or less the unit will turn on or off depending on the direction you are sliding the bar...
And yes there is a fuse behind the cover.. If this is the thermostat without the heater the white wire will not be hooked up...

Fan will run on low or high in the manual position. Furnace turn on and off. Just nothing happens when in the auto position. When manually set to cool, the fan will run at high or low but no compressor.

I’d probably order another thermostat but you may be able to diagnose from this…possibly a wire not connected at the ac unit on the roof or at the stat…since the fan comes on on the acunit when you switch it to cool I’d say it’s a least partially wired right…does the fan come on when on cool and immediately after you turn below ambient ?

Also are you talking about the factory mounted rear ac or is it a dealer installed front ac?

The slide doesn't seem to do anything no matter what I try. Like I stated earlier, I can jumper yellow(cool lead) to 12v and compressor runs fine. I let it go for an hour or so like that with no issues. That us why I think the thermostat is bad. It is the factory unit on the rear. Front works fine.

Id just order another one then…and it won’t hurt to jump it out and use it on a really hot day until you get one because it probably wouldn’t shut off anyway by the thermostat…but don’t leave it all night
Let me rephrase that…it wouldn’t hurt if it’s safely jumped out with temporary switch so you don’t risk shorting out the wires to anything
