I'm not sure where they got the info or impression. They live in a rural area just below the UP. DW talks to her and relays the info to me. Did not know how prevalent that might be so just wanted to share in case it was an issue for the OP.

We have annual visitors in our park from New Hampshire, Washington, Oregon, Iowa, Illinois & a handful of other states that had no problems getting here this past fall nor heading home now. Some staying in hotels, others in rv parks & none have mentioned any difficulty doing either, other than rv parks are more crowded than in the past.
We had several from Canada that have homes or permanent rvs set up that also flew in to the US, stayed all winter & now contemplating returning or already have with no problems.

AC noise has always been an issue with us. Our latest Cougar has the second AC unit in the bedroom. I have found that when I get the camper cool, I turn off the unit where I am and run the other. This has kept us cool so far. The units share the same air ducts, but the noise is kept in the other area.

Noise reducer

Wacko product reduced noise greatly. Think it was money well spent.
