2020 Fuzion 429

The camper came with a tall ladder to access the loft. The salesman at Camping World (where I bought the unit) says the ladder is used for the loft and the garage bunk. Yet, we had 2 ladders in the 2013 Raptor 322TS we traded? Fact or fiction? Should I have gotten a ladder for my garage bunks?

I would think if someone is sleeping in both that for safety sake there should be a ladder for each upper bed.
Were the salesmans lips moving?

I wonder if that was one of the parts/accessories keystone had trouble getting with COVID shutdowns at the factory. Maybe they are putting one in each unit till supply chain catches up.

Our 2020 Carbon 348 on came with one ladder. Which for our needs, I doubt the loft will ever get used. Your needs may vary.

Rather argue with Keystone or your dealer I'd spend maybe $20 on some lumber & build what I wanted/needed rather than some cheap piece of crap from the factory.

Or buy one on Amazon, have it delivered in 2 days for $64.
https://www.amazon.com/Quick-Product...oghydr-20&th=1

Figuring your time at $10/hour, you'll spend more than the $64 on phone calls, travel time, waiting for the dealer and that doesn't include the roll of Tums or Rolaids.

Agree. I used the tall ladder to fold out a bedspread on the top bunk and the ladder slipped and I reflexed. The wife laughed then started saying we had 2 ladders in our 2013 Raptor, why not in the 2020 Fuzion. Both Keystone products.

I'm pretty sure we only got one ladder with our 429. It stows in the "drop-down" door at the fore end of the garage. That loft is too narrow to get any useful sleeping functionality, but it'll probably make a good storage area if I can fashion a bar or lip to keep stuff from falling out.

The wife is certain there's a second ladder up in that loft area, so I suppose we'll see when I get back out there now that the ice has melted off it.

Our 2019 Fuzion 429 came with one (tall) ladder. Stores in the storage cabinet under tv in garage. Two ladders wont fit in there.

I also had a raptor 2013 and it had two ladders, now I have a 2020 raptor 351 and it has one ladder. It is to long for the bed in the garage but not for the overhead bunk.

Whats up with Keystone.

I guess they are saving money.....

I have a 2017 Fuzion 371 and it only came with one ladder that has the 2 sets of contact points for the bunk bed in garage and loft. The ladder is in the storage below the garage tv. I can see where two would be needed if both the bunk and loft are being used.

Or call Keystone and find out what they say on the number of ladders.
