Check your A/C condenser

I was up washing my roof today and decided to pull the A/C shroud to check things out. My condenser fins were about 1/3 plugged with crud. I washed out the fins as well as the condensate pan drain holes which were partially clogged. Now I know to check it at least once a year.
If you haven't checked yours in a while, I would recommend doing so.

Great heads up Steve. I usually use a spray bottle with simple green and soak the fins first, then I use water or compressed air to clean out the fins. Works great!

just a caution to rinse thoroughly after using simple green on aluminum. It can be corrosive.
