Waterless shower trap

Will that be hipo trap. I seen a tag under the shower waterless trap . From what I'm reading air trip doesn't need rv antifreeze. Is this trap reliable and is it the norm for rv.

My shower has a regular p-trap. But my outside kitchen has the waterless trap. Im not really fond of it as it will still let the tank smells out, yes it can stink. I did replace it once but no help. I keep a stopper on the drain when not in use. No antifreeze is needed.

We have two Hepvo devices on our rig, one straight down from the shower drain, and the other is horizontal under the bath sink. Neither one has caused us any trouble in over five years of full time use. We do occasionally have to clean them, just like having to clean the crud from a regular p-trap. The one in the shower, I just use a small bottle brush to clean the membrane without having to remove it. The one under the sink I have to remove to clean it, but that is only maybe once a year. I'm not sure why they use these instead of the p-traps, but for me, they work fine.
