Stair lighting
We just got a 2016 Raptor new. Can not figure out how to turn the front step light on and off. We looked everywhere for a switch. Had to turn off the battery disconnect to keep it from draining. Anyone know where to locate it?

It seems to me mine was wired to the porch light switch on the control panel. I have changed some things around since new though. I would look at the switches there as well as the switches on the wall in the hallway outside the bath. My awning lights are with those switches, along with overhead kitchen lights. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason as to the placement and wiring of switches in these things.
Also, what kind of light is it? If it's the orange marker light type housing just pop the cover and pull the bulb.

Not sure if this is the case in your situation. If it can be turned on with the remote, it will have to be turned off with the remote, and then you can use the switch. Hope this helps.

No, thankfully I do not have the In Command system. And from all the stories I read about it I will never buy something that includes it. But that's a different story.
If the light was turned on with the remote it must be turned off with the remote. Until then the switches won't work is my understanding from many similar threads. Same with other things the remote controls. So when something doesn't work with its switch, try using the remote to "undo" it, then try the switch.

No I do not have remote, if my Raptor did come with it, my priority would have been to turn everything off with the remote then place under dually wheels and run over it Do not think canesfan has a remote.
Okay I would get your remote and make sure all functions are turned off, if me I would also remove power from the controler for a while then reconnect. Easiest way may be to remove battery connection.
On my Raptor the step light is controlled by the porch or patio switch on the control panel.
As stated by canesfan pulling bulb out will shut it off for a long time

If your Raptor is similar to the Fuzion line, some exterior lights are not wired into the In-Command system. Try opening cabinet doors and look for an old fashioned rocker switch. That is where I found the switch which controls our step light(the one that looks like a clearance light). For an example of the Fuzion there are some images in page two of this thread:
