Researching Premier 26RBI
I am looking to purchase our 1st RV and have been researching this model. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions? Also I'm a first time buyer so any help would be welcome.

Are you actually talking about the Cougar 26RBI X-Lite?
I own one and it's a great TT. If it's the same model, ask your questions and I'll see if I can answer them.

Go to the Keystone Questions section of the forum and look for the sticky called "Pre Delivery Inspection Checklist". When you do your walk through at the dealership, take the list with you and go through each item with the service tech. Take your time, ask questions, find out where everything is located and how all of the many functions and systems work. For example, "where is the water pump?" How do I winterize it? How do the remotes work? Where is the converter? Where is the manual over ride for the slide outs? ------ to name a few.
Anything that is broken or missing - get it fixed or replaced while the unit is at the dealership. Parts may have to be ordered so you'll have to take it off the lot.
The walk through is an important part of the buying process - especially for the first-time buyer. Don't rush it or be rushed!

Hey bill-e it looks like I will have almost the same set up as you. I have 1500 Larime Longhorn and am looking at the same TT. How does the truck tow that trailer.

The Ecodiesel and the Hemi will tow it fine...I don't hear good things about the Pentastar v6.
I put airbags on mine just to take the bounce out of the coils...not absolutely needed. The 3.0 Ecodiesel tows it fine, I forget it's there. Did a 3 hour trek up to the top of Vermont through the hilly I91 and it did great albeit the mpg was not great at 13mpg.

So is it the Premier 26 or the Cougar 26 that you are looking at?

I'm looking at the Premier 26RBI. My wife likes that layout. My brother-in-law has always owned the Cougar line and has good things to say about them.

We don't have this model, but we love our Premier. Definite upgrade to our last Springdale. If you have any general questions, feel free to ask. Good luck with your choice!

We've owned our Premier, although shorter than the one you're contemplating, for over two camping seasons, thousands of miles, well over 100 nights, and we still love it. It really is Premier.

I have the 31BHPR, love it. On our third season and it is great. Tows nice, sets up easy. Just like everything about it, they make a nice unit for the price.

My wife and I are pretty happy with our Premier. Great upgrade from our old Jayco pop up.

We got our 22RBPR at the end of February and have put almost 4000 miles on it in 2 trips.
It is perfect for the 2 of us and any issues have been fixed by me, with parts and a payment from the dealer to cover the warranty repairs.
We love it.
