New from Virginia
Hello Everyone
We are a family who likes to camp and recently purchased a Bullet 281 BHS. We love the layout and the price. We had a great experience with our dealer.
I have few questions before moving forward and taking the RV on our 2nd outing.
1. The bunk beds ladder sold at Camping World are 60" long but we need a 54" long instead. Where do I find one?
2. Can an exterior ladder be installed on the rear of the RV to give access to the roof?
3. Can I walk on the roof to clean and maintain the rubber?
Thank you for your prompt response.
Regards

Welcome and congrats. Can the ladder be cut? Otherwise have you searched the web. Some trailers cannot have ladders check with the dealer or manufacturer on that. As for the roof I don't go up there due to my weight but many may suggest laying a board down first.

Welcome NONI and congrats too, I would also like to know about the bunk ladder for my Cougar 26bhs, same situation. I walk on the roof fine but take a blanket to neal on when working. Good luck, and happy camping. Fellow Virginian

NONI looks like you already know a few people. On the modificaton section you will find a few people who have made ladders. You might see if a boat ladded would work. I walk on my roof and I remove my shoes and use a knee pad when I am working on my knees.
