a/c problem

Duo therm brisk air non ducted Works fine unless you turn dial to coldest setting then it turns off

If it is just shutting down and you turn the dial back and it starts up again sounds like a bad switch.

If your turning it up all the way and it blows the breaker which you have to reset in the trailer it could be a number of things from a shorted wire in the AC to a bad breaker.

Does not blow breaker just shuts off and if you back it off a little the a/c comes back on.This is the temp. knob not the low med high switch.

Hows is the trailer getting power? I had a Artic Fox before current trailer and the AC did that when runing on shore power with a 15 amp service and/or a small extention cord. Also on the genny if it was over 100 degrees the genny would run the rpms up/down and the AC would quit, only working if left on warmer not cooler at the high outside air temps.
