Screen Door

Has anyone come up with a way to secure the screen door better. It seems like it pushes out quite easy. I'm afaird that one of the GK's is going to push against it and fall through it onto the ground. Thanks again for the help on my other questions.

THE latch system is pretty fieble. I allway worry about my dogs going through it too. we put a folding child gate accross ours. even if you came up with a better latch the screen door frame is 2 steps stronger than alluminum foil!!

I had the same concern for the grand kids or the dog.
We ended up putting a grab handle and fold it back against the trailer to keep the door from opening accidentally.

It can be moved out of the way through the door panel from the inside.

What I did was buy the clear plactic tie back to hold the pocket door in the open position while towing. I attached it to the door jam on the inside and attached a snap on the outside of the door. I open the clear slide in the door and snap it on the outside then close the slide. Our 2 little 11 pound dogs can't open the door. We also covered the outside of the screen door with clear plexiglass so we can leave it open and see out.

Screen door

I had similar concerns. Little grandkids pushing weak screen. Bought lower door screen guard for $40 at CW. Screws into frame. Problem solved.
