20% Goodyear Discount

Just received an email from KOA with a 20% discount code for Goodyear Tires purchased through goodyear.com.

The code is KOA-MEMBER20. Direct link is below:

Code is valid through June 30 and is marketed to KOA members, but looks like it validates for anyone.

FYI, I did a quick price check and the pre-discount price on a set of GY Endurance ST22575R15's from goodyear.com is the same as at Discount Tire @ $145 a piece.

Mark, I have always found it odd that Discount Tire's online site prices were less than in-store prices. Whenever I have purchased from Discount Tire, I have told the store clerk that I found it cheaper on their own online site and have received the lower price that the store price.

Yep....I'm sure they all play pricing games and GY even mentions price-matching. I did the compare to DT just to see if the GY prices were inflated, as I know a lot of the guys buy from DT.

At any rate, I put a set in 'my cart' at Goodyear just to see and they came up as $145 minus $29, so $116 a piece, which seems pretty good.

It's for LR-E's: Product page

I noticed that they do charge (up front) $18.95 per tire installation (you choose the dealership), but that does include balancing as well.

So GY website price for the 4 tires purchased, delivered to your chosen dealer, balanced and mounted is $539, not including tax.

Thanks for the heads-up. Promo code worked and I have purchased 4 GY tires to be installed this Sat that will get all four TK's off my TT.

There's no guarantee in my experience that any sale price from anywhere is the lowest price for that item. I remember about 25 years ago DW and I were in a Coleman Outlet Store in PA. Was looking at an ice chest and it was higher than Walmart just up the street was selling it for. You have to look around and compare for sure.

Walmart and TR were the same price as what I just paid without installation so I'm good with what I got as installation was included with the total price.
