So, that's what the blue wire with the 7.5 amp fuse, tied to the red wire is... Solar.. Well I can leave that off..

Got a lot of cleanup, rerouting and replacing to do this long weekend.. enlisted a young, skinny co-worker to help.. but we're building a wall against the stairs in the basement to mount the new Progressive Industries EMS system and the new Progressive Dynamics 80 amp Lithium converter and removing the old Surge Guard that I never liked (finally).

After that comes the rerouting of power cables, mounting circuit breakers, fuses, cutoffs, busbars, and batteries..

Nice & crispy clean.
Seems like manufacturers could save a lot of time & material doing it right like you did.
Wire looms have been used in many industries for decades to increase productivity & prevent failures.
Oh well••••

I'm just curious? Did something go wrong, or break, or fail that started you down the re-wiring path?

Nice job! I wish I had the real estate to clean up my wiring. Unfortunately, the A-frame doesn't lend itself.

With me it was a combination of the manufacturer doing a crappy job. And the dealers tech making it worse when they installed the 6v batteries.

The first photo is how it was delivered, wires smashed between the batteries and the bulkhead, and a single strap "securing" the batteries.

The next photo is what I did after delivery, rerouted wires away from the batteries, and secured the batteries with metal angles and threaded rod. I left it that way for the first year while it was under warranty.

For me it was a decision to put Lithium batteries in the trailer.

I needed new batteries anyway, since both of mine are series 24 lead acid which weren't even connected in true parallel. They were only connected by a 6 gage wire running from a post of a 50 amp breaker and a 2 gage wire running from the other battery to the same breaker post.

I needed new batteries because on several trips running 7-10 hours in the Texas heat I'd have to plug the shore power in and charge the batteries a little before using the jacks.. I guess the residential fridge is pulling them down.

That got me to start looking at the other connections which kicked in my engineer OCD and away we went...
