I mounted my first one straight up on my Cougar, assumed this on my Passport then it didn't clear. It is actually now pointed out a little bit. I think the roof drip edge was in the way, but don't remember exactly.

The bracket has 2 or 3 pre-made screw holes in it and I didn't want to weaken the roller end with excessive holes. Hence why I recommended using tape to temp hold it for testing.
