Bathroom faucet
Well, I finally found something about my Cougar 24RDS that I don't particularly like.
The bathroom faucet appears to have been mounted about three quarters of an inch too far away from the edge of the sink, making it difficult to use.
So with an eye toward replacing the faucet with one that reaches a bit further, I took a look at the display at Home Depot and discovered that a 4 inch reach is pretty standard and the next size up appears to be an eight inch reach.
Has anybody else experienced this and come up with a good solution?
forgot to add pics:

We have same issue and have’t found a great solution yet. It’s impossible to wash your hands under the faucet because the neck is too short.

Well that's a shame.
This is a 4" center set faucet as well, but since the stream goes "outward" I wonder if it might work better.

I think what you are looking at is the position of the mounting holes. 4" and 8" spread and single hole are standard. The length of the spout depends on the design you choose. JM2¢, Hank

We had the same issue so I swapped our faucet out for a Pfister. In addition to it reaching further over the bowl, it also has much better clearance under the spout. 4” inlet spacing fit the existing holes in the countertop.

Yep, looks like I have my next project to look into also.
Always something new just around the corner.

Make sure replace the “swivel seals” ( volcano washers) in the pex fittings.

It's a long drive into town so I want to make sure I get the right stuff the first time.
First is what is under the sink now. Second is a view of the swivel nut that comes on the new faucet. and last is an included adapter.
The example on the right is using a braided stainless line - is that the same size fitting as the vinyl line with plastic nut that is currently on my sink?
If I understand correctly, you're saying I need to replace the cone shaped washer inside the grey plastic nut - correct?
Thanks!

Yes. I would, it’s more preventative than anything else.

Not all faucets are the same connections.
I'd confirm what fittings are under your sink, most likely 1/2" pex, once you've chosen the new faucet open the box to check it's fittings & buy adapters appropriate for both.

Post #10 shows what's under my sink and what comes with the faucet (adapters). Just have to make the time to drive into town in the next day or two.

Can you replace the faucet with one that is more convenient?

We found an easy solution for this problem. You can buy a swivel aerator on amazon for about $8. Works great! No more having to mop up the water on the counter after washing your hands.

Camping World
We had the same problem; however, our original was white plastic! We found a metal chrome plated faucet at Camping World that had a slightly longer and taller neck. Simple to switch out. Now I can get my hands under the faucet!

Replaced the faucet in the 1/2 bath of my 2019 with one from Lowe’s. Will do the same on the bath sink in my 2022. About 20 minutes and $180
