Mid bunk issue

We purchased a new 2021 Avalanche 365 mid-bunk last spring. Granted we love the unit. Our two issues:

1. When we pull the love seat out in the mid bunk the head area is lower than the feet. We solved that by putting in a foam mattress piece. But we're going on more trips and moving around more this year (each stop is only a day or two). Its a pain to move the mattress piece, hold it; while trying to fold up the love seat. Then securing it for travel.

2. Has anyone replaced that love seat. It's a full-size mattress and we really need more of queen size for two people to sleep in there. They're tight on that size for our trips that are normally over a week.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Hard to believe no one has any ideas on how to fix the loveseat in this camper to make it sleepable. Or ideas on how to re-vamp that room.

Hoping for some thoughts!!!

Thanks in advance.

I think WiredGeorge has experience with replacement furniture…if you need a queen size then I’d look on forum classified or maybe George will respond

It sounds like you just need a queen sized sofa bed that you can take apart to get in the mid bunk room…good luck

If you keep the original maybe you can install spacers permanently under the sofa legs to raise the head end up when you open the bed…maybe there is an adjustment for the brackets that hold the seat cushions
