Table Base/Lift Bracket

My 2021 Keystone Cougar 31bhkwe’s table is supported by the 2 tubes that mount into the table and floor. I was online and saw a 2022 31bhkwe didn't have the tubes, but instead has a bracket that attaches the table to the wall and allows it to be raised and lowered. I am wanting to upgrade to this mount, but the dealer want $375+$60 shipping, and $112 to install. I can install myself, so the dealer said it could be shipped to my house for the $415. This seems really expensive, and has to have a big dealer markup. So, I am hoping someone on the forum might have the new setup, and might be able to find a manufacturer mark/part # on the bracket. This will help me determine if I can order direct, or at least find a more reasonably priced option. Keystone was no help, as the website said parts are only available through the dealer. What a racket!!!

Thanks for any help!

I think this is what you're looking for ?????

It's available places other than the dealer for a bit less money.

JRTJH, thanks for the reply. Here is a screen shot of what I am seeing. It doesn't quite look like the item you sent. Maybe this is a new design.

Probably is... $300 plus $18 shipping sure beats $415 from the dealer...

Only issue is whether your table top is the right "shape against the wall" to fit that base properly... I'd do some comparing on corner radius, thickness and length/width to make sure it's compatible....

The other consideration is the wall. I’ve seen tables with that style of support and unless there is support material in the wall, the bracket will fail in short order.

JRTJH, per the Cass Hudson's website there were several different measurements for table length and height off of the floor, so definitely will take some measurements and do some comparisons. I did see the table in the pick at Cass Hudson's had a lip under it, I know mine does not. Also, really couldn't figure out how it was attached.

Chuckster, the dealer did say they have done repairs in that area on both the old style and the new style and that there wasn't any additional bracing that they had noticed. Before ordering, I was going to check to see if there were any studs or other type of bracing to screw into. No matter attached, if someone were to lean/sit on the table edge, I am pretty sure it would fail as you stated.

Another option, if you decide not to screw into the wall of your camper, is a Springfield 3 stage pedestal. It screws into the floor of the slide and bottom of the table top. On our Cougar, I had traded out the folding table base it had because I was so tired of bashing my knees on it. The Springfield pedestal worked great and no bruised knees. The only reason I left it in that camper when we sold it was because the new camper table does not need to lower for a bed or for travel.

I second the Springfield 3stage pedestal. One of the top three mods we did to our FW.
Have never used it as a bed yet, but perfect to lower to a comfortable eating height for our young grand daughters.

Just checked out the Springfield 3 stage, it looks pretty cool. I would still be banging my knees on it, but it would at least eliminate one post, and be a whole lot easier to operate.

At 6ft, I do not bang my knees.

For the Springfield 3, is it possible to mount it closer to one end of the table than the other, i.e. cheat a little bit toward the window side of the table? Our kids don’t go with us much anymore, so it is just the wife and I at the table, so if it can be offset a little, that could help with my leg room. At almost 6’3”, legroom is tight with the 2 posts we now have.

Yes, it can be offset a few inches.
