Raptor gas tanks

I have 2 gas tanks, 30g each. It's my understanding the generator draws from the forward tank and the "toy" is fueled from the aft tank. Correct??
What is the flow rate of the pump? I am running the generator in an off grid location and pumped what I think is gas from the aft tank to the front but neither gages moved after a few minutes.

Chunker, was you describe is exactly how our Raptor was set up. And I will tell you that the gauges are more inaccurate than your black tank gauge! And keep in mind that there is no telling how deep the pickup tube goes in each tank!

Thanks last fall's trip I filled them both and have put about 50 hours on the generator with our off-grid stops and regular maintenance runs. Last night I "showed" about 1/4+- on the generator gage on the Incommand panel. The gage for the tank, other tank I suppose back at the fill station, showed close to 7/8th. It's 5am and it ran all night so not empty yet. Today I'll transfer more and just sit there longer. I don't have a spare portable gas tank with me to measure the fill station flow rate but I'm guessing "not robust".

Corrected updated info

I did another search of the Raptor fuel station and found posters who had the fuel station and generator tank in either position. I went back out and pumped into the "other" tank and got the desired results. For mine the front tank is for the fuel station, the aft tank the generator. Now have about 1/4 tank for the generator and good for a few more hours. When it's warmer and less windy, winds howling in west TX, I'll transfer more.

Also, consider that both of the fuel tanks are constructed just like the holding tanks. They are only about 5" tall, 24-30" wide and extend from one side of the "inside the chassis rail to the other rail". In other words, if the RV is 1" off level side to side, the tank may read 20% more (or less) than if it were really level. Now, add the fact that the tank might well be "installed 1" or 2" off level, and then add the RV being off level "just an inch" and you could very well "set up the result" to be 66% incorrect just by that 3" of "factory/campsite off level condition"....

I wouldn't put a lot of faith in the accuracy of any "tank sensor technology" that's bought from the lowest bidder, installed by the newest worker, connected by the busiest electrician and checked by the least interested dealer serviceman....

Should they work "flawlessly" ??? Heck yes.... Do they??? Only on a very few "unicorn RV's".... For the rest of us, the reality is the tank gauges on the fuel tanks are no more accurate than the black, gray and fresh water tank gauge systems.....

Rear tank is for the generator
I think Keystone has standardized this but I couldn’t say for sure.

I don't think Keystone has standardized this. I have a 2018 Fuzion and the forward tank is the generator and the back tank is for toys.

When they standardized the wiring color codes in 2017 I figured they would do the same in other areas too. Hope over time they do, it sure makes things easier.

I know my Raptor is a '12 model and the generator tank is forward and the fun fuel is the rear tank.

Diesel injectors are a lot more "picky" about what flows through them. From what I've seen come out of the interior of fuel tanks "hung" under toyhaulers, I wouldn't consider pumping diesel into my tractor or my diesel UTV from a tank on an RV.

With the amount of diesel most UTV's burn, a couple of 5 gallon "yellow jugs" should make it through a weekend, or at least until you can refill them. I'd not consider using a RV tank for diesel without a sophisticated filter system on the delivery pump nozzle. YMMV

Deisel engines don't play well with gasoline either so the tank would have to be completley devoid of any gasoline before switchin over to deisel.
