Need the shower door strap

I have the curved glass shower doors that roll one to each side of the opening. I noticed that the rubber piece intended to hold the doors together while traveling has torn. The strap looks a bit like eyeglasses, you know, two eyepieces and a nose piece between.

I've searched eBay and Amazon with no luck, what is the strap called and where is it sold?

Thanks for your help.

The Trekwood site doesn't have a photo of the holder, but I think this link is what you need: https://www.trekwood.com/products/12...Standard-Black

You'll need to contact Trekwood to verify that it's actually the travel lock that fits your specific door. If it isn't, they probably will have the part or know where you can find it.

Once you get the results from Trekwood, please post the answer for others who may encounter the same problem.

We quit relying on the shower door travel lock long ago. We use a gear tie to make sure it stays put during travel.

Thanks for the help, I looked at page after page on Trekwood without success.

I also considered using something like a child lock but the gear tie is a good idea.

I am suspicious of the factory solution since it tore after only a half dozen uses.

Shower Door travel latch

Hello, I have the same shower door. You can order a replacement rubber travel strap from Trekwood. The SKU is 502716. I suggest you call their order desk and ask for lowest shipping rate. They only ship FedEx so this cheap part is less than shipping. I ordered 3 just so I have spares. My order of 3 with shipping came to just over $27
