Yes indeed. Buy and drive whatever blows your dress up.
My DW brother keeps reminding me about how grand and great his truck is and how is fantastic negotiating skills were and his truck will pull my fiver better than my truck and blah, blah, blah.
I'm loyal to the manufacturer of my truck as I have had very good service from the truck and it had what I desired. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yes, give it a break, the Ford vs Ram vs Chev/GMC

In life

IMHO "In life, it's important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong." (quoted from Positive Oasis)

I bought a '71 Pinto my first year in college and towed a flatbed with it. The flatbed was made out of the fixed-driveshaft rear end from my '54 Chevy. I hauled my canvas 6 man tent on that flatbed so I guess it was my first RV!

The flatbed prevented anyone from hitting the Pinto's exploding gas tank.

Hahahah. As I always say " I could agree with you ......but then we'd both be wrong !!!" Usually kills the argument. LOL

I have always been pretty much a Ford guy. However when I bought my first TV I bought a Chevy. Well, here we are 2 years down the road and I'm looking at RAM.
Sorry but I have NO brand default.
I need cloth (heated) seats, auto climate control and tow package.

Whenever somebody asks what I pull with, I always say a Forchevam. Then along comes someone and pulls a Titan out of their butt

Trucks are a choice, I have a Ram, sometimes I wish I had a Ford or Chevey. It just depends on what work I am doing on it. The oil filter is really hard to get to, the fuel filter is not much better. Never had anything but a Ram so I guess I will just learn to deal with it. I bought my first Ram in 1978 and have never looked back, I could buy anything its just a choice. Just be happy with what your choice is or get something different. Just saying!!!

According to the facts, this was a family gathering in rural Virginia. Alcohol was involved (sorry to be redundant). And someone brought a knife to a gunfight

Live and learn

Okay. Go ahead and laugh
My wife did also, a Ford Pinto wagon. It would jump time about every other week and I'd reset the timing for her. Stupid rubber timing belt.

The Pinto went away when we got married.

I'm a chevy guy but they insulted me at 3 dealerships when I tried to trade for a dually so I'm in a Ram now.

If I ever win the lottery I'll probably be back in a chevy duramax crew cab 4x4 ltz dually.

Yeah, a friend once told me if humor isn’t my thing, move along. Sorry for the failed attempt to poke fun at VA.

There is an old saying from the world of motorcycle riding-it isn't what you ride it is that you do ride. Same with our trucks and RVs...
