I notice on storage compartment door some round specks of what I think is mold, I haven't tried anything but rv soap...was afraid to use anything stronger without asking , magic eraser...bleach. Anybody else ever had this problem if so ,I would be thankful for any replys

If I am not mistaken (and I am sure I would get corrected) bleach is safe to use just about anywhere non-porous, even the rubber roof. I use a squirt bottle with 1/3 bleach 2/3rds water and I can get just about anything off. if you wanted to know for sure, try testing an area with bleach without rubbing... if its mold it will come off with no effort.

Reading about someone using bleach on the rubber roof makes me cringe. I think bleach on the roof is only recommended as a last ditch effort. But it’s the roof, so I don’t see the point on trying to make it sparkle. Ok, back to the mold discussion.

06 sprinter all metal, I had a local glass place put in big window and noticed some black stuff on metal under window, think it would be safe to try bleach on metal also....and thanks for the info!!

Bleach Will not kill Mold. I have been in the business for some time now and there is a soultion called sporicidin that will take care of it and wont hurt anyone or anything.

Yes, bleach will clean a lot, but no it will not kill mold, just reduce it.

BTW, the easy way to use bleach is to get a spray bottle of Tilex.
