Water pump issues

Hey guys, we recently purchased an Outback 332fk. We got to our dry camp spot and popped the water pump on, but we're getting no pressure. I am able to hear the pump running, the fresh tank is full, just no pressure. This is the first time we've tried using it, so it could just be bad luck. I'm wondering if any of you good folk might have some ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

If the pump is running, most likely the valve for the winterizing tube is open. You will need to locate the pump (follow the sound) and then probably take a couple of square head screws out to get to it. Once your eyes are on it, look at the hoses going INTO the pump. There is probably a hose with a valve at the inlet side. Make sure it's turned OFF and the pump should start pulling water from the tank.

I should have clarified, I pulled the panel off where the pump is located and the valve from the tank is open. Thanks for the quick reaponse.

That valve should be set so the pump pulls from the tank not the interfacing hose. If it is closed, then open up a faucet and see if the pump primes itself, may take a minute to develop enough vacuum to pull the water out.

I've found that these pumps need an open faucet to prime. Otherwise they run and run getting nowhere.
