any comments on the Cougars xlight 26 RBI

Hi,

i'm soon to be the owner of the 2015 Cougars xlight 26RBI. I wanted to have your comments on this model. I'm 6"5 so I can't wait to go from my 17feet KZ sportsmen to the Cougars TT.

I have a 25RET and love it. I also went from a 17 KZ Sportsman. Did you lay on the bed in the cougar? The reason I ask is ours has a short queen and I am not 6 feet by any stretch and my feet will overhang the bed. I am looking at a mattress extender.

I'm dry camping in my 26RBI as I type this. I love it. I love opening the door and walking into what is to me a huge trailer (former 19' hybrid). I shower twice a day in ith's huge shower though I miss having the shower curtain stick to my back.....NOT!

Wish it had more wardrobe space, real fan in the bathroom and bedroom (installed a Maxfan Deluxe in the bathroom) and some amount of outside kitchen but that may be asking for too much.

It pulls like it isn't there with my 2015 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel and Huskey centerline hitch.

Thanks guy's for your response. We finalized the deal late yesterday and I'm now enjoying my last camping weekend in my 17 KZ. Trust me I can't wait to make the TT switch and feel like I have space especially in the shower lol!!!

We just purchased a 2016 26RBI and will be trying it out in the next couple of weeks, but like the trailer very much so far.

Mine is 3.55. For best towing you would want 3.92. I went for fuel economy as I only tow a dozen times a year and usually less that 3 hours each way.

ahh thank you...that is what I am finding out there is they are all 3.55 and 3.92 does give you more but I am looking long range for some cross country.. I am really thinking I need to go with the 3/4T diesel.
