Battery not charging while towing
We have a 2015 Cougar High Country, we just got back from Branson, MO battery was showing full charge when we unhooked from electric when we got home the battery was showing 1/3 charge. This was a 9hr drive, the only thing that was running was the refrigerator and it was running on gas. Shouldn't the battery be charging while it is hooked to the truck? Our truck is a 2013 Chevy 3500 with tow package. Thanks in advance for any help.

First place I'd look is the glove box, there should be a plastic bag with a relay in it... This is the battery charge relay and most dealers forget to plug them in... if it isn't there you need to ask the dealer for it as it should be included with the tow package.
Your owner's manual should have a diagram showing the location of the block and the proper slot to plug the relay into.

Javi could be quite correct. However if there is not a plastic bag I would check to see if you have a blown fuse in the truck. Or if the relay is already plugged in it could be bad.

With the truck idling, and a test light in hand, open the lid on your seven pin connector on the rear of your truck. Attach your ground to something absolutely sure to be a good ground and touch the probe to number 4 pin which is the one in about the 10:30 position. That is your wire which charges the battery in the trailer. If it's hot then you should be in business as far as your TV goes. If it isn't hot then take the advice given above and go from there.

I think Javi is correct for a Ford, for GM products there is a wire under the hood that you have connect in the fuse block under the hood. Between the left (driver or right side as you are looking under the hood) fender and the large fuse box is a wire that says "accessory" I believe, it was red on my last 2 GM products. It gets hooked to a stud that is under the large fuse box. Once you connect that, it should charge the battery from the TV. See this info from etrailer..... http://www.etrailer.com/question-21543.html

Possible blown fuse
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a blown fuse. On my 2007 Sierra 3500 the fuse block is on the drivers side under the hood. Laarge rectangular black cover behind the battery. The fuse is a pink 30 amp on the LHS of the box.

Somewhere there is a thread about Chevys and fuses. Granted yours is a 1 ton and mine a 1/2 but chevy did not put the 40 amp fuse in the fuse block under the hood. Look in the owners manual and check it out. I had this problem, towed for 6 hours with nothing getting charged, and I to have a tow package.

If your fuse is good you could have a bad battery. When you are plugged in 120 volt your monitor will show the output of the converter and this will show full charge.
