Awning

I accidentally unrolled the awning to far and now it will not roll in. I hand rolled it but unrolls like it’s not attached.
How do I fix it?

Not sure what you mean. You extended it too far and now the motor wont retract it?

What brand of awning? Is the fabric on the TOP of the roller tube?

If you can roll up the awning by hand, the roller tube is probably no longer engaged with the motor. You can take the cover off, and remove the 3 screws that hold the motor/gearbox in place. The roller tube has a shaft with a flat spot that lines up in the gearbox. I would be looking at it.

When you use pot metal to save 50 cents it does not surprise me.
