I thought that non cross rotating only applied directional tires.
But I may be mistaken.

That has always been a restriction. I remember a caution on not cross rotating radial tires in the past, but these days it seems that restriction has been removed.

Yes Desert185 sorry I do remember. I had a 69 Chevelle in 1970 when radials first showed up here in Canada. I bought a set of BF Goodrich tires and the tire shop told me not to cross rotate them. Funny thing at stop lights people would roll down their windows and tell me I was getting flat tires. It was only the soft sidewalls in those early tires. The good ol' days.
