How many nights in your camper
In line with the putting your camper away for the winter thread, how many actual nights/days did you actually use yours. We stayed in ours ~23% of a year or a grand total of 83 nights which is close to what we used it for in 2015 (79 nights). It should have been more except for a nasty flu bug my DW caught in April

Re: How many nights in your camper
Retirement IS all it's cracked up to be: 228 and still counting. Had to pull through four inches of snow to get to West Yellowstone. Then head towards Wisconsin.

Re: How many nights in your camper
44 from May 1 to Oct 16. First trailer, first 'RVing' season. Shooting for 50-60 nights next year starting around May 1st. And I'm at least 25 years from retirement.

We're both still working full time, but managed to get in 33. That's not counting time spent in back yard. LOL

Re: How many nights in your camper
We managed 61 nights from the first weekend in May through Columbus Day. This is good for us since we are still working.

Re: How many nights in your camper
We just bought ours in July. But between the about 16 hoping to get another shot at it if the weather clears up for 4 or 5 days. For me I do not want to camp out in the rain. Can't have a camp fire and if I need to sit in my trailer I just as well sit in my recliner at hope. Plus since a don't have a four wheel drive I have a difficult time backing up hill to park it. Will be doing much more next year. Also we have to many animals to just take off and we have to find and pay for a house sitter.

37 here. Just retired so that number will go up a lot next year. Towed over 5K miles though.

Re: How many nights in your camper
We are over 270. The remaining days missed were spent on a cruise and a couple quick trips visiting family. Retirement is pretty tough, trying to keep everyone happy😎

Re: How many nights in your camper
45 last year and will be 45 again this year. We were able to camp each month from March to October. We did manage to tow over 6000 miles. Just being gone and out of the house those many nights was relaxing and fun. We were able to add 8 new states to our map, so I'm good with this. Full retirement is still 10 years away so we'll keep this pace up for a few more years. Happy Trails...

Re: How many nights in your camper
29 nights so far in 2016. I hope to get in two more weekends or so before winterizing. I would love to camp way more often, but my wife only enjoys heading out 1-2 weekends a month. Now, if I replace our current TT with a 5th wheel over the winter, that would likely entice her to camp more often next year. We really like our Bullet, but also like "space" as well, and two humans + three dogs is plenty in the Bullet (that has 1 very shallow slideout).
But, it has been a nice year overall. We have seen some new sights, visited new parks, and enjoyed ourselves.

Re: How many nights in your camper
Only 4 so far, up to 8 more elk hunting late Nov. Hope much more next year. We sold the beach house early spring, that took up a few weeks than I worked on this house daily for 3 months spring and summer. New siding, paint and wiring. Most done by me only. Glad that is over. More time for travel next year.

Re: How many nights in your camper
didn't get to go as much this year . . . . 28 days on our vacation, 9 days with the grandkids, a few weekends here and there, and the upcoming 10 days over the thanksgiving weekend . . . we sort of lost count

Re: How many nights in your camper
I personally slept in the or will sleep in it by years end.
40 nights for 2016.
but because my daughter used it for 10 weeks while staying in Oklahoma for a summer internship that added 70 nights minus 8 we all slept in it going to and coming home from OK while on the road.
So total for 2016 it will be just over 100 nights. That's a lot of using it. My math is confused on the trip out and back plus what was used for her while we were not with her. Hench the just over 100 nights????

Re: How many nights in your camper
I thought we did well with 43 nights. Still do that thing with my wife called full time employment. About to change within the next 6 month though.

Re: How many nights in your camper
We have 70 right now and will put in another 36 before years end with our next trip to FL for Dec. We are retired but have several things that pull us in different directions during the year so it minimizes our ability to camp in the trailer.
