battery to AC

Might be a stupid question.
How can I tell if im using AC power, or battery? does it have to do with the switch by the bed (awning control etc..)
Brand new to this and doesnt really help much in the user manual. Thanks

If you are plugged into shore power (120v ac) everything is running on that, either directly or through your converter. When not on shore power only 12v dc items will work. (lights, furnace, fridge on propane, water heater on propane, fresh water pump, etc.) Tvs and A/C you will need a Generator.
