Welcome from NM. I camped at arkabuta lake at Hernando point COE . The area is fun and a lot bikes . I stop at American legion hall in Hernando for a fundraiser and ate my first slaw burger. I was told it’s a southern thing . I stayed a week in the middle of aug and one of the more fun party parks I stay at .

I am actually at Hernando Point right now. It’s 5 or 6 miles from home so a good quick escape. Middle of August so I bet you got a good dose of the MS humidity!

I had to experience the southern trip girlfriend and I spent three weeks in Arkansas at Core of engineer parks with the index temperature of 109° almost every day. Mississippi was the same way we get up early in the morning and ride as long as we were moving on the bike it wasn’t bad. I would always look for a cantina with Cold beverages and AC.
