InCommand Slide Awning ‘lock out’
Had the infamous InCommand safety lock out not allowing me to extend slide nor awning. Spent hours resetting, fuse checking, relay swapping, and reading many forums. Called dealership but service Dept was so busy they could only take a message for a callback. End of day, still no call.
So how did I fix it? Started metering out voltages and the BCM showed as powered but the input voltage was odd, less than expected 13vdc. Opened up Giggy box upfront, purple wire was on post but binding nut had vibrated off. The connection was giving enough voltage for computer to think it was working but the amperage needed to drive motors could not be supplied. I set the binding nut, checked EVERY connection I could find in Giggy box plus BCM. Everything works like a charm.
Curious how long before service department calls back……………..
