Last trip!

Last trip to the lake this past weekend. Great weather! We got the toon out on Saturday and closed both down on Sunday. I noticed a little water in one of the storage compartment, the keylock was a little loose so hopefully tightening it up solves the leak. I'm going to keep an eye on it.
I used air compressor first to blow the lines out. I was going to just do that but didn't like how we still had water sputtering out. It wasn't much but didn't want to chance it on the new rig. We ended up hooking up the bypass valve and using antifreeze as well. I that I had everything figured out on my own but couldn't get the AF to pump out of the bottle. Kept trying different things then realized I was looking at the pump from the REAR! I had the valve the wrong way! After flipping the valve around she pumped just fine! Hopefully we can get an early start next year!

Have fun y'all!

Just a word of caution, The Hideout is a wood frame trailer. Any (and I do mean ANY) water leak is not a "slight problem"... It only takes one winter in storage for the entire wall structure and floor structure "near that leaking lock location" to destroy a corner of the trailer. Keep a very, VERY close eye on that "suspected possible leak"... It could be nothing to worry over, it could also be the "kiss of death" for your new trailer.....

Trust me I now! Old Lake camper was in bad shape! Don't want that with new one!
