Alpine 3220RL Generator prep option

Anyone have an Alpine 3220RL with the generator prep option? I am having a hard time finding a dealership that has one.

Thanks

Big1,

I am willing to drive to most anywhere east of Missouri, There are a bunch on rvtrader but I can't find any with the gen prep.

Curious is Big1 a reference to Big Red One, Fort Riley?

It's just a quick name that I though of, I also have a Flame Red 3500 ram, I wasn't station there but I was station at a few places in my twenty-eight years in the Army.

And there are no 3220RL around were you live? We drove about 250 miles to buy one of our fiver but we don't have it no more.

Gotta thank you for the many years of service. My son in-law is there, soon to move to Fort Sill OK and be a drill sergeant.

If you can find the model near you, gen install isn’t that hard.

The dealer I bought the last two 5th wheels from has one but it doesn't show the genset prep.. You might give Dave Morris a call...

Or have the dealer install it. It would most likely be a neater install if the dealer did it.

Thanks for the help

@NJ High Country,

I called Showalter RV, they don not have the gen prep on their units, the info on rvtrader is incorrect. They talked to their support folks and said it would be about 2k to install the gen prep.

I also messaged the manufacturer , their response was; ' I do not think it would be feasible to add generator prep to an already built unit. '

@Javi,

Will call the folks are genuinerv and see what they have to say.
