2012 Raptor 3600RL Leveling Jack No Power

Hello all. I'm new to the RV world and need some help! I just bought a new Raptor 3600RL and on my first trip I have lost power to my jacks and I'm almost hooked back up to my truck. Need to raise her about another 2 inches. What do I look for? I have no owners manual and I'm in a panic!

In the process of raising your jacks, you may have blown a fuse. On our Cougar, there is a 30A fuse located in the wiring harness about a foot from the jack motor/battery. Try locating and looking for this blown fuse first.

Thanks Festus! That was it. Sorry for the late post. I was so excited that I found the fuse, I forgot to thank you. I appreciate the help!

Glad that you found the fuse, replaced it and the jacks worked. When operating your jacks, you have to be careful not to hold the switch down too long when the jacks are at or near the end of their reach. Once they are fully extended or retracted, holding the switch down will often blow the fuse.

You might want to place a piece of tape or put a large permanent mark on the jacks about 1 1/2 or 2 inches above the point where they are maxed out. When the jacks reach this point, stop. A couple of members have suggested using red and green tape --- green to indicate that you are getting close to that point and red telling you to stop.

Have a few spare 30A fuses with you as well. Try taping a couple of spares onto the wiring harness or in a handy, close spot inside the storage/jack compartment.
