2013 Fuzion FZ310 GFCI issues

Hi All,

New to Rv'ing this year have a 2013 Keystone Fuzion FZ310. We are out this weekend and having some issues. The GFCI will not reset! It's in the Garage by where you would plug in the washer/dryer. Is there another GFCI in this rig????

The outlet next to it works. All the outlets on that wall are out, the TV over the door, and the outlet outside directly under the awning.

We have reset the breaker, tried a different power source at the park. We replaced the GFCI switch and it has a light to it but still cannot reset. Also, the Fridge will only go to gas at this point and will not kick over to auto even though we are on shore power.

Anybody out there?

Welcome to the forum

Just for fun, unplug the fridge and see if it resets.

This probably isn't the problem but when you replaced the gfi plug you did wire it with the load side to the "load" side....??

Edit: Another thought would be to disconnect the load side on the gfi plug then see if it resets.

Didn't you all have some hard rain from Zeta recently? I'd suspect the outdoor plug may have gotten wet. Turn the breaker off, remove that cover plate on the outside receptacle and see if there's water inside.

Yeah, we replaced it one for one. I'll try to disconnect the load side but it has power to it, it just doesn't reset.

We were thinking this model has another one somewhere but can't find it and the schematics online are horrible.
(Sigh)

Yes we did.... that is what my dad suggested so we took that off too and no water.

Another thing is the back security lights don't come on.... I'm at a loss

If there is an issue with a receptacle down stream from the GFI that can cause it to immediately trip, seeming like it's not resetting. That's why Chuck recommended unplugging the refer and the recommendation for pulling the wire off the load side.

If you pull the wire off the load side and it will not reset then the problem is with the GFI (providing you have power to it. They will not reset if there's no power to it). If it resets with the load wire removed then the problem is with the wiring or load plugged into the circuit that's downstream.

As for the "security lights" are they 12v dc? If they are 12v dc the GFI will have no relevance to them.
