It's probably a reorganizing of the marketing plans. Last year Keystone dropped the Cougar XLite line and started offering the Cougar Half Ton line nationwide. They've had models "come and go" in every line and most of the Keystone brands have models listed as "Stock only" every year (meaning discontinued and only models already on lots will be available).
One of my "personal disappointments" was the full size Cougar fifth wheel offerings. Last year all models less than 34' were discontinued and this year, the shortest Cougar fifth wheel is 35'4". Gone are the "bed slide" fifth wheels shorter than 34', at least in the Cougar line. Also gone is the entire Cougar travel trailer line. All you can buy now is the "light version" with laminated floor/thin roof decking and lighter frame rails.... They dropped the Cougar travel trailer line several years ago.
This may be a "shift to a specific customer population" or it may be a "reorganization to reduce the line"... Keystone's done it before much more than "just a couple of times" Think back to the Everest, Cougar XLite, Cougar High Country, Advantage, Cambridge, Challenger, Copper Canyon, Hornet, Sydney just to name a few.....
