New Member, new Apline 3510re
Hi Everyone:
I am new to this forum and looking forward to learning from this great group!
I started camping 1 1/2 years ago with a 23' TT. We used it a lot and just got back from wintering in FL. During the 5 month getaway, we realized we needed more space, so we spent an incredible amount of time looking at 5th wheels. We decided to go with a new 2016 Apline 3510re and will be picking it up next week.
I'm new to 5th wheels and new to the Apline 3510re, so I'm looking for input on the difference in towing a TT to a 5th wheel. My towing vehicle is a 2015 Ford F350 dually with a 6.7 diesel power stroke.
Also any experiences with the Apline 3510re.
Thanks!
Norm

Congrats on your new Alpine. We have a 2014 Alpine. This year starts our fourth season .. only minor cosmetic issues dealer corrected. Love the fire place and heat pump. Hydraulic slide outs and six point level up have been flawless.. do take a look at your tires and I hope yours came with G rated ones and not the junk E rated Trailer Kings.

Agree about looking at the tires. I was looking at a new Montana the other day (sister brand to Alpine) and looks like they are coming with Sailun tires so the Alpine may have them as well.

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
Having towed 3 5vers and several TTs I would say the 5vers are easier to tow and back up. JMO. Enjoy that nice Alpine.

Welcome to the forum. Congrat's on the new Alpine.
X3 on what others have said about the tires. Ensure you have something higher rated than load range E's on the Alpine. My new Montana was built before the swap over to Sailun tire. I did an upgrade to Carlisle load range F's. Load range G's are also recommended.

Congratulations
We are picking up our 3500 rl next weekend. Hope you enjoy your new 5er . I also have a 15 super duty. The 6.7 is a great motor to pull with and also the exhaust brake and tow haul mode work awesome together.
