3500 Ram DRW riding high

I'm pretty sure I'm ok but wanted to query the experts. My TV is a 2017 Ram 3500 DRW. Sits high in the back. Dropped my High Country onto the hitch. Ram squats about 3" and both the High Country and Ram are just about perfectly level. Question is given the above, I have 5 3/4" from the highest point on the rear of the Ram to the underside of the High Country. Good enough?

The "general rule of thumb" is that you need a minimum of 6" clearance between the truck bed and the underside of the trailer. That said, the "old man's version" is: If you can slide your clenched fist between the two, you've got enough clearance. So, since few people have the same size fist, I wouldn't think it's "rocket science" and wouldn't "quibble" over 1/4".

I'd think, just go with what you have and if you do notice that it's close when backing on an angle, you might want to raise the hitch platform a bit. I wouldn't think you'll have any trouble with your current adjustment
