Gas to Diesel

Well, I bought a 2016 327RES while I had a 2014 F250 6.2 CC. Bringing it home was pretty good. Once I loaded it up I knew I'd be close on my weights, but after the first trip I found out why a diesel is just better. The truck was WORKING when starting out on a grade. Once up to speed it pulled well, even going up hills with some speed behind it. I just wasn't comfortable being so close in the weights and making the engine work that hard. Pulled the trigger on a new 2015 F350 6.7 CC Lariat yesterday. Not excited about the extra going out in the monthly payment, but I already feel better about the thought of pulling it in a few weeks. Having the bed sprayed with Rhino Liner on Monday and then the Reese Titan will be installed. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to see the difference in towing with a diesel.

Congrats! I'm pulling a Montana HC 353RL with a 2016 F350 6.7, no problems what so ever.

We just upgraded from our old trust worthy '02 F250 7.3 to a new F350 dually King Ranch that I ordered. Obviously wasn't cheap but we got close to 9k off the list price and it will probably be our last truck anyway. This truck has the wide front axle, max front springs and 4.30 gears, basically a JR. F450. The turning radius is great, it should pull our Montana Mountaneer with very little trouble......if any.

When I got it home I jacked it up and pulled the useless stock shocks off and installed new Bilsteins and the 20" Eagle wheels and Michelin Defender tires. It rides much better now, the power is amazing and the brakes are even better.
