Awning size

We have a Passport GT 3100rk. My question is how far do most awning extend out from the trailer. Are they all basically the same? Or do they vary by a great deal? I think it opens out to about 8'... but I'm not sure. I'm sure its 18' long just need to know how far it extends when open. I believe its a weather pro or weather guard something like that.....Its the one that dumps the water off it by itself. I cant get to my TT to measure at this time is why I'm asking. Any help will be great ....thanks.....carry on..

I believe most awnings open 8 feet.

Thanks Gary.....I was thinkin it was 8' but then started second guessing myself.
