distance between studs?

We have a 2014 Passport Ultralite and want to add some towel bars and shelves. We would like to get a schematic of the frame so we can see the distance between the studs. Does anyone know where we can find a schematic, or does anyone know the distance between the studs, and are all of them metal? Thank you.

There are no schematics or blueprints of the structural members nor is there any wiring diagram available for any Keystone product. Essentially, the outer walls are either wood or aluminum depending on the model and brand. The interior walls are usually wood. All of the wall framing is "computer generated" and does not follow a 16" or 24" on center concept. The easiest way to hang items is with 3M command strips or with small wood screws. Realize that a stud finder will work to locate the studs but make sure the screws you use are short enough not to go all the way through the wall to the other side. This is especially important on exterior walls.

Another member just asked the same question. You can find that discussion here: http://www.keystonerv.org/forums/sho...ighlight=towel

Agree with above, sometimes you can look for the staples in the wall to tell where the studs are.

Also keep in mind that a cheap stud finder will find your pipes as well and you don't want to fire a screw through them!
Tap the walls with your fingers, you'll find the studs.
