Yes I think Sailun has raised the bar, as well as Hercules. Although Hercules has a 84 month warranty and free replacement at under 50% thread wear for defects in workmanship or materials.
So, this begs the question...would you age out those tires at 3-4 years or run them to 5-6?

If Im running a set of 14 ply G rated steel cased tires... which in my case I am then YES.. I a running those tires on my 12K lb Alpine fifth wheel 5 to 6 years...

I currently have about 32K miles on my set of 14 ply G rated tires that were installed May 2015... I'm not ready to replace them yet...

So many variables on tire life.. In my case the tires are:
1. Always covered when not towing
2. Cold inflation psi has always been 105 to 110 psi
3. Towing speeds never over 65 mph with 62 mph my constant speed
4. I rarely tow when the ambient outside temp is 100 degrees or higher

I will be yanking off the tires and wheels in early Apr 2022 doing my annual clean, inspect and grease on the wheel bearings and such and will reevaluate my "aged" tires at that time because I can easily see both sides of the tire to inspect.

And no I ain't unmounting a tire to inspect it from the inside... i will simply use my 50 years of experience and gut feeling at time of my look see

CW, I've recently been looking at the Transeagle 235 85 16 in load range H and speed rating L. The load capacity is the same on the G rated tire at 110 psi as the H tire. What is the difference between the G and H other than number of plies, since the load rating is the same? I think the maximum pressure of the H is higher. Thanks for your thoughts. JMAC

You should check the actual sidewall information when in doubt. The TransEagle info I have lists that ST235/85R16 LRH with a 133 load index = 4541#.

It's very important to use a tires actual designated size when searching for its load capacity. ST tires have their own load ratings and should not be confused with LT tires or commercial truck tires.
