On our 30 Amp unit I installed a permanent mount EMS and permenant mount Hughes Autoformer. First, changing the 30 Amp cable from store thru a mouse hole to removeable meant that there was room in the cabinet for both. Second, in my experience, the fewer connections that are not secured by a screw but rather friction the more points of failure.

Just my preference, YMMV.

I got mine installed and am in Emporia, Va using it ATM. Such a sense of resolve knowing I don't have to worry about power quality.
