Alexa and incommand

Hello all. We have a new Couger 5th wheel with in-command. Can Alexa interact with this system?
Thanks

Just kicking it back

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a 2020 raptor. I would love the incommand to work with alexa. Is this done yet?

Currently NO and yl7 wouldn’t want anything else linked to the In Command system.. it has enough issues all by itself

It is not done yet, and I doubt it will ever be since the system has been discontinued from most Keystone RV’s due to its disastrous performance. ASA may continue to release bug fixes, but highly doubt they will add any new functionality to the system.

Fortunately, my Cougar was built in March of this year (after they ceased using InCommand) so I don’t have to deal with any of the headaches of the system.

Alexa works non- Amazon devices by using what they call "Skills" to interface with the devices phone app. If you go to the Alexa app or Alexa.com and then open "Skills" you can see if the in-command app is listed. IMO, I agree that in- command has enough issues on its own and doesn't need any help in complicating the "built in" quirks.

Sounds like I need to go read about in-command. I want to know what I am in for.
