Campground Nashville TN
We are planning a destination Birthday Party for our 11 year old grand daughters. Of course the 4 legged family members must also go. Seems like a good excuse to get the Raptor out and turn it into a hotel. Any suggestions for a campground in Nashville?

Cedar Creek in Mt Juliet is excellent but may be too far

Have you checked out Nashville Shores? Of course that would be more of a summertime place to go. It not sure when you were planning on going. Cool place for kids and adults. If you want to venture out away from Nashville Defeated Creek is very popular but fills up pretty quick. It's around an hour to an hour and a half east of Nashville. I have lots of friends and family that go there a lot and it's one of their favorite spots.

Nashville Shores is my suggestion as well. We had a trip planned for there, but had to cancel it. Still planning on going someday.

Choices
If you want lots of activities for the kids, go to Nashville Shores. Very busy place in the summer. If you want more tranquility, go to Percy Priest Seven Points campground. Use your Senior Pass and it's only $11 per night.

Back in the '80s we camped at Hermitage Landing on Percy Priest Lake. Best campground for kids (old and young) we ever stayed at. I understand they are no longer there but Nashville Shores is there now with similar activities available. From checking their website, you may want to make reservations. Good luck and I hope the grandkids enjoy their birthdays. Furkids are allowed at sites but not cabins. ...... JM2¢, Hank
