Queen to King bed in 327 RES?

Has anyone traded out their queen for a King in their 327? DH and I thought about it and it would be easy enough to take out the tiny shelves on either side but was wondering if anyone had traded out the mattress.

We have a new 327 and plan or swapping out to a king. I am going to widen the plywood base to match the king. Back problems are slowing all the projects I want to complete before summer. Good luck with your mod.

The only problem we found with swapping for a king is there isn't enough room between the mattress edge and the closet door.

I wish we could put a king in our Raptor
