Just bought a 2014 321RES Trailer

Hi folks, just thought I would pipe in and broadcast we just signed for a new 2014 Cougar High Country 321RES without furniture. That's right- no sofa or chairs. After we found out that the new Lane sofa bed mattress was only 60" wide x 65" long we said no thanks. We'll buy our own sofa bed that is 60" wide x 72" long with a 6" mattress. If anyone else chooses this route just remember that you have 69 inches wide to fit a sofa bed into the slide out.
Our production date is May 16th so we should have it a week later.
Happy trails,

Got mine in March, Love it.

Yep, traded up from a Passport and what a difference. Love the extra room, great floorplan, and Loads of space inside. Wife is not nagging now about small bath, bedroom... Just perfect for me and her, and grandkids when they come to visit. You will be very happy with your new rig. i went over with fine tooth comb and only found that the door was sticking, hit it with some 'Blasterspray" and worked it into the hinge, now fine. Also check the blinds, found 2 that had the retractors pop out. Dealer fixed in 20 minutes... Other wise. GREAT TT/

No pulling for me, seasonal in LIW resort in Narvon, PA.. But have a 13 Ram Bighorn that does 10K, if I need to... Have fun!!

Bill,

We also got a 2014 Cougar High Country 321RES with the Lane sofa, the other thing I noticed was the bed is not level due to the slide floor. Is your sofa bed level? and can you post pictures?

Thanks

Actually we took the Jennifer Sofa-bed out of our other trailer and put it into our new Cougar 321RES.
Here's what it looks like:

When folded out it's a full size bed and two adults sleep very comfortably in it.
You're correct about the sofa slide out. It is raised probably 2 inches. What I did was remove the two rear legs of the Jennifer sofa and then slide the sofa back to the wall. Now it's level front to back. There's about 2 inches of side room between the sofa and the slide side. So we put our wooden folding table in there.
Happy trails,
