Not sure yet if we will be getting the Raptor or Fuzion, but leaning towards the Fuzion. My question is for both of you Chevy and Dodge truck drivers out there. We know which size truck will be best to pull this size toy hauler around with and my husbands choice will be to go with the diesel engine in which ever he desides to go with. But what I want to ask is what kind of real world fuel mileage are you all getting pulling this size camper around? Any and all info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Coyote

My dodge 3500 4wd dually td gets 12-15 towing my montana. last rip to the weight station put me close to 14300 lbs. also i am light footed. 55 i am in no rush when i tow! your milage may vary

We average between 9.5 to 10.5 crusing at 64-66 and pulling 17K on mixed roads. If traveling mostly flat we can get upwards towards 12, but 10 is a good all around average. We get 14-15 around town solo and 18-20 solo on the highway at 65-70.

Thank you very much. This is the kind of info I'm looking for. By the way, we're both pushing 60, will be on us before we know it. My husband has a knack for getting great fuel mileage with anything he drives. I have a new Jeep Grand Cherokee which I get betweem 19.5 and 21, depending on if I'm in a hurry or not. LOL My husband drove it the other day and came back in with a challenge for me. He got 26!!! I have a lot of work to do to match that.

We have a 2012 Fuzion 310 and tow with a 2001 Chevy Diesel. I really feel that the newer engines do a bit better with mileage and power, but mine works fine. I can get around 20 mpg if I am really really gentle and no trailer. My first trip with the 310 completely unloaded got me 10.6 going from Virginia to New York (some hills, some two lane roads). With my truck, it really depends a lot on the number of hills and the number of stop/start times (as in back roads, not interstate's). I get from 9 to 10.5 with the trailer loaded.
