The back cap on our 2012 was showing signs of oxidation. The Meguiar's 49 has a fine grit that dissolves as it is applied (how do they do that...magic?) Then an application of Nu Finish. Both steps done by hand. Looks like new!

We dropped off the truck and RV at etrailer to get Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System w/ Side Marker Light Cameras - 7" Screen installed.
The installation is free. I will see how well it works on Saturday.

How much "pucker factor" did you have when cutting the hole for the dryer vent?

Best upgrade so far

Today I installed the Hatch-lift RV bed lift kit. It was pretty straight forward. Came with everything except 1x for extra support. Took about two hours taking my time, did it in the storage yard where we keep the trailer. Very happy with how it turned out, makes using that space much more convenient. DW loves it.

Added much needed supports to upper bunk bed, not much use and it was starting to sag. Bolted 4 aluminum cantress to the base. I'm happy with the results, and not much weight added.

Parked it. Been on the road the last 2 weeks from Kansas to Florida for a few days then to Kentucky and back home. It is good to get out and play in these dang things.

Added a shade to our"slim shade ready" entry door. Put a retractable shade on the skylight in the shower. Made a trash bag holder out of a piece of 4 inch PVC pipe and installed it on the basement. Also measured the exterior speakers to order some replacements. Camping season is around the corner.

I took the Mountaineer 2015 310RET to the local dealer and traded it for a 2020 Montana 3120RL. Since the 2500 was a bit light I traded it on a 2019 3500HD Sierra with a 6.6 Duramax. Getting ready for retirement.

Dropped it off at the dealer for warranty issues, getting some vent covers installed and side marker lights with cameras installed. I may see it again in a month or so. At least it saves on storage fees but this will end up substantially more.

At least I beat the beginning of season rush at the dealer.

Over the weekend, I washed and waxed the TV, then the RV. I also sanitized the RV fresh water system, checked the batteries, and checked the hydraulic reservoir. Still need to service the wheel bearings and lube the suspension. Never ends, it seems!

Had a rare slow day at work today and since it was so nice out I pulled the trailer to the front so I could work on it and also watch for customers.

I installed Bal lock-arm stabilizers. Two kits in back and one in front. They were super simple to install. Felt pretty stable but the real test will be the three girls inside.

Also a Valterra sewer hose tube. I thought about doing the fence post mod like most but I only paid about $40. For the time and money to fab my own it was easier to go with this.

The coroplast is folded up at the front of the frame. I’ve been worried that when traveling in rain it would collect road spray and soak any insulation between the coroplast and the bottom of the trailer so I taped it up with flashing tape. Not sure if my concerns are warranted or not but it doesn’t hurt anything...

Finally installed a glove holder in the pass through.

I started about 9 am and was done about 2. That included a one hour lunch and stopping to wait on customers several times.
